Primjena
Priprema poruba za šavove
> Odaberite bod. (Korni ubod br. 21, 22, 23 ili 24)
> Uvucite konac u stroj.
> Pričvrstite stopicu.
> Pričvrstite porub za pokrivanje na stroj pomoću držača pribora. Pogledajte priručnik s uputama za držač pribora.
> Otpustite vijak za zaključavanje spojnog dijela poruba i poravnajte rubnu vodilicu tkanine bočno prema lijevoj igli i zategnite vijak.
> Otpustite vijak za zaključavanje na spojnom dijelu držača pribora, postavite porub za pokrivanje što bliže vrhu stopice i zategnite vijak.
– Rub za pokrivanje i stopica su blizu jedna drugoj bez izravnog kontakta.
Šivanje poruba
> Presavijte porub, umetnite ga u porub za pokrivanje i stavite ispod stopice. (slika 2)
> Rub tkanine leži uz rubnu vodilicu tkanine i nabor tkanine mora kliziti u Coverstitch Hemmer bez otpora.
> Spustite stopicu.
> Zašijte porub. (Sl. 3)
> Provjerite porub nakon nekoliko uboda i po potrebi ispravite položaj poruba za pokrivni ubod.
> Za porube zatvorene u krug, zaustavite se prije kraja šava prije nego što prvi šavovi dođu do poruba za pokrovni šav.
> Skinite porub s vodilice i zakrenite porub za šavove ako vam pomaže. (Sl. 4)
> Vodite porub ručno dok se nekoliko šavova ne ušije preko prvih šavova. (Sl. 5)
> Osigurajte kraj šava ako je potrebno.
Bilješka
• Cverstitch Hemmer prikladan je za lagane do srednje teške tkanine.
• Tkanine bi trebale kliziti kroz porub uboda bez otpora.
• Za tkanine koje ne zahtijevaju završnu obradu rubova, također se može koristiti lančani bod.
• Ako je potrebno, prilagodite diferencijalno uvlačenje za zaobljene šavove.

Application
Preparing the Coverstitch Hemmer
> Select a stitch. (Coverstitch No. 21, 22, 23 or 24)
> Thread the machine.
> Attach the presser foot.
> Attach the Coverstitch Hemmer to the machine with the Accessories Holder. Refer to the instruction manual of the Accessories Holder.
> Loosen the locking screw of the connecting piece of the hemmer and align the fabric edge guide sideways to the left needle and tighten the screw.
> Loosen the locking screw on the connecting piece of the Accessories Holder, position the Coverstitch Hemmer as close as possible to the presser foot tip and tighten the screw.
– The Coverstitch Hemmer and the presser foot are close to each other without direct contact.
Sewing a Hem
> Fold the hem, insert it into the coverstitch hemmer and place it under the presser foot. (Fig. 2)
> The fabric edge lies against the fabric edge guide and the fabric fold must slide in the Coverstitch Hemmer without resistance.
> Lower the presser foot.
> Sew the hem. (Fig. 3)
> Check the hem after a few stitches and correct the position of the Cover-stitch Hemmer if necessary.
> For hems closed to a circle, stop before the seam end before the first stitches reach the Coverstitch Hemmer.
> Remove the hem from the guide and swing out the Coverstitch Hemmer if helpful. (Fig. 4)
> Guide the hem manually until a few stitches have been sewn over the first stitches. (Fig. 5)
> Secure the end of the seam if required.
Note
• The Cverstitch Hemmer is suitable for light to medium-weight fabrics.
• The fabrics should glide through the coverstitch hemmer without resistance.
• For fabrics that do not require edge finishing, a chainstitch can also be used.
• If necessary, adjust the Differential Feed for rounded seams.
